I have a 2002 Subaru Forester with 160,000 miles on it. It has a high-pitched squeal at high speed whenever I turn the wheel slightly right or left, and at low speed the grinding, squealing/squeaking noise is very loud, the neighbors are complaining. Does not matter if I am braking or not. Could it be my wheel bearings?
Have the brake pads checked. Wear indicators cause a high squeal. Could be bearings but I would check the brakes first.
