I have a 2002 Ford Focus. It was running fine and 1 hour after I had just driven it, I tried to start it and it would not turn over at all. Most of the electronics don’t work, but the battery connections look good and the battery tested fine (12.7 V). Any ideas what to check next? Thanks.
Try removing both ends of the battery cables (both of them) and cleaning both the cable and where it goes very well and reattaching making sure they are secure.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I tried and still no go.
Burnt out fusible link? Check with an ohmmeter.
Check the power panel under the hood and see if there is blown fuse or bad connection there. Use your meter to check for voltage.
