Ford Falcon 1995 acting up after being parked for a few days

Hello, I have a Ford Falcon GLi 1995 that runs on LPG and I’m having a little bit of a problem with it. I left it parked for fourd days while I was away and yesterday when I tried to turn it on the engine just took a couple of minutes to go (the electric part is working but the engine doesn’t seem to start revving). After a lot of tries the car started but I heard a very loud noise coming from the engine (like the sound you would hear if you hit a piece of metal with a hammer) and it is working but it’s behaving strangelly: there’s this loud on the engine and the car sounds like it is working pretty hard when it’s just on N.

Thanks.

If you continue to operate this engine with a very loud “hammering” noise coming from it, you will only exacerbate the problem and make any repair more expensive. This car needs to be towed to a competent mechanic a.s.a.p.
Do not start the engine.

I second VDCdriver’s suggestion. The noise you are hearing is not good, and the longer you listen to it the more damage will be done. Have the car towed to a mechanic.

This is a mostly a North American based forum. Since our last Falcon was made in 1970 you would probably be better off posting on an Australian Ford Falcon forum.
