I use my 87 Ford F150 only occasionally and the fuel got old before I realized it. I now have to have the tanks drained. I only want to fill one tank with stabilized fuel. What can I do to the second tank to keep condensation from rusting it out?
Fill the second tank with stabilized fuel, and use it when the first tank is empty. The other option is to remove the second tank.
If I weren’t going to drive it much, I’d keep 5 or 10 gallons in each tank and wouldn’t worry about it too much. Just don’t let it sit around 8 or 9 months without driving it.
