I’m trying to import a 2006 chevrolet express 2500 cargo van from the US to New Zealand and I’ve been asked to supply the info from the FMVSS label and the emission label however I can’t find them. Any clue as to where this info is listed or can be obtained
The Emissions label is under the hood, for example.

I believe the FMVSS label is the one on the door pillar.
The FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) is a label? Government bureaucracy reasons may not seem rational to non-bureaucrats; but, there’s no requirements for it to. Who’s going to require it to? I can’t see any reason for them to ask for those labels. Is Chevrolet Motor Cars going to build some gray market vehicles which aren’t built to standards? Here are some explanatory sites for FMVSS: http://www.google.com/search?q=fmvss&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=com.google:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
