Flying Testla Roadster

… especially if they are launched via SpaceX. Thus far in 2026, 35.7% of Elon’s rockets have blown up.

Of the 720 SpaceX launches overall, the success rate has been 99.58% successful.

Only the newest launch vehicle, the Starship, has a failure rate of 5 of 14 launches. Newest technology, working out the bugs.

Blue Origin has had 80 launches with 2 failures.

Do we all remember which company rescued the 2 space station astronauts stranded by the Boeing Starliner?

I guess you missed the part where the vehicle lifted off and flew over the Semi and other Tesla vehicles and then landed… He never stated it could fly for x amount of miles, but as short as it was, it was still a flight…

The failure rate of the Apollo launch vehicles was about 50%. Luckily, most were unmanned.

Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should do something. In 1974 i had visions of putting a heleport on our building so i could fly to work instead of driving. Retired too soon or just in time

Today, I saw a Cybertruck that was wrapped (??) in a bright turquoise color. I guess that, if someone wants to make an eyesore even more offensive to the eye, this is a good way to do it.

There is usually one at Costco but has been missing the last couple of times. Maybe crashed, burned, traded, or just waiting until dark. Really ugly.

At least half of them are wrapped around here. Just followed one wrapped in flat black, looked dirty when clean.

I saw one of those in a driveway at the end of my street. It did not have a state government license plate. Just for a few days though, I haven’t seen it lately. The man is a state police officer. Until recently, they had a white Model Y with a state government plate.

I think a lot of criminals would get them to get away from the cops. Well, until the police helicopters get a bead on them and track them.

Fantastic presentation aside, this is really just the goofiest car ever built.

Or drones. They’re a lot cheaper and harder to spot.

Let’s just hope he doesn’t turn off the GPS it needs, instead of Ukraine’s, by accident.

It wasn’t by accident.

A buddy and I drove a Pinto across the country in 1978.

I wouldn’t know what to do with this useless show piece.
