Hey. Posted earlier about a 2002 Saturn SL2 with bad transmission. I did take it back to the local car mechanic, they said codes indicated it did need transmission rebuilt or replaced. And I said, “Enough.”
Found a nice little 2002 Toyota Corolla with about 60,000 miles, traded in the Saturn. It’s even the same color.
So it’s over and I can stop thinking about it. I do appreciate the input I got on this forum. It was very helpful so thanks to those who chimed in.
Now if I can just get my 17 year old daughter to pass her learner’s permit test…but that’s another story.
Good for you. Congratulations on your purchase. The Corolla should provide you with a lot of good service.
As for your daughter, it is practice, practice, practice, or learn, learn, learn.

That can turn into a bigger problem than a transmission. Those daughters cost more and are more trouble. :-)
