I am trying to determine the age of a set of old tires. They are General Grabber tires 31/10.50R15
it says DOT ADYK 924242 and another says ADYK 924232
What do these numbers mean
Look for another group of numbers, 3 or 4 digits. The date code is usually only on one side of the tire, you may have to go under the vehicle and check the other side of the tires.
This tire was made the 16 week of 2012
The last 2 numbers are the year, the first 1 or 2 numbers are the week
