Cruise control will not engage. Switches work light flickers when pressing accelerate.
Any idea?
Check to see if your brake lights are working. On some cars, if a bulb is burned out, the cruise control won’t activate. Also, if the brake lights are stuck on, the cruise control won’t operate. I had this happen on a Ford Tempo that I owned. I was on the interstate and the cruise wouldn’t work. Motorists kept honking at me as well. A new brakelight switch cured this problem.
