Transmission mechanic told me I need a new EPC solenoid in the tranny. The ole Grand am shifts hard after warming up, basically. And he ran the diagnostic test, that code came up. Anyway! They say it’s gonna be $700 to replace but a private mechanic will do it for cheaper so long as he doesn’t have to pull the engine or tranny. Does anyone know what replacing the solenoid entails for an 02 Pontiac Grand Am??
