I have a bad engine (rod or spun bearing)in my 2000 Isuszu trooper (3.5 L DOHC) and have found a low-mileage engine from a 2002 Trooper. ANy problems with swapping the newer engine?
It shouldn’t be a problem swapping the two engines as they’re only a couple of years apart. But if you find a difference in the ancillary components between the two engines, just swap the component from your old engine to the new engine.
