Engine check light on 1994 Trooper

I have a 1994 Isuzu Trooper with 203K miles. The “check engine” light came on today, with the speedometer/odometer not working, and a tendency to stall when braking to a stop (starts up right away). All connected, or several problems? I love this truck, but it is starting to show its age
