My 2002 Mercedes E320 has on 2 occasion not started. When you turn the key it acts like it wants to start but it does not. I then wait about 15min and the thing will then start. what is going on?

BTW knowing how many miles on your E320 has and how long you have had this problem, might be helpful. Is there any weather condition connection?
the car has 101,251 mile and the problem started last month. weather was a little cool but nothing major. the car will sound as though it is starting and will make the noise for about 10 second and then it will stop.
