Does traction control affect gas mileage? Do you get better mileage with it on or off?

Absolutely not . If someone told you that don’t ask them anymore questions. Just leave it on and let it do what it was intended for.

Agree with @VOLVO_V70 Traction control makes NO difference to gas mileage.

Bought a 2005 Town car with traction control. Am familiar with positraction rear axle. It used more gas than a regular axle.
