I’ve never done any electrical work on a car before…My cruise control is not working. I want to pull the 10A fuse (inside the passenger compartment) to see if it is blown & replace if necessary. To safely do this do I need to disconnect the battery? The owner’s manual does not mention it. Car is 2007 Ford Focus.
No need to disconnect the battery. It may be safer if you DON’T disconnect it.
It’s not necessary to disconnect the battery to check any of the fuses.
