My standard response to anyone who asks me “When are you going to get a new Truck?” is to say “I’m getting one right now: piece by piece!”
Really, I’m proud of my learned ability to keep my (admittedly simple) truck running, and disposing of it would be tantamount to admission of defeat–something broke that I can’t fix! Were I to suddenly become wealthy, I’d probably buy something sporty, with wheels (although not necessarily 4)–but I ain’t selling the Ford!
