I was wondering if anyone on here could help me locate the Coolant Temperature Sensor on my Acadia? I can’t seem to find anything on google.
If it’s a V6 engine…it’s just a few inches above the oil filter on the side of the engine block.
In an ideal world manufacturers would put sensor location information like that in the owner’s manual. There’s only a half dozen or so sensors that attach to the engine, so it wouldn’t be a big burden to include a diagram of their location. Unfortunately, not an ideal world.
Can someone show me where the camshaft position sensor is located. Exhaust on bank 1
What codes are you getting? These engines have timing chains issues that will often set a camshaft and crankshaft code. Replacing the sensor does not fix the problem.
