I have a 2000 Chrysler Sebring Convert. The cruise control works when it wants to. I replaced the servo, (which the Chrysler dealer recomended)along with the switches on the steering wheel and it hasn’t changed a thing. Of corse it always works when I take it to the repair shop. Can anybody help?
The next time the cruise stops working, place the left toe of your shoe under the brake pedal and try pulling up on the brake pedal. Now see if the cruise works. If it does, the brake light switch is out of adjustment/defective.

I have tried the brake pedal idea but it didn’t help. The one thing I left out of my delima is that the cruise control turns off. The light in the dash goes out and it will not turn on again unless I restart the car.
