I’m too worried about getting on telemarketing lists or having scammers call me, that’s why I won’t put my phone in the ad.
I post my phone number all the time but spell it out as I described above and that helps. I get so many scam calls but do report them and that does work. There is a federal do not call list and most states have one as well. They can’t get them all, especially the spoofs, but they do get many of them and reporting them does help. I figured I was wasting my time at first but was so pissed and just did it to do it and it does help. I try to report one per day and more if I have time.
