I have a 2002 Honda Accord, manual transmission, 135k miles.
When I reverse, turn the wheel all the way to the left or right, then accelerate (in reverse), I get a loud clunk from the front. I’m assuming it’s something from the front suspension, but I wanted to see what more knowledgeable minds thought.
There’s no clunk when in forward or in reverse while the wheel is not turned.
replacing an axle will solve your problem. Joint is bad and its cheaper and more reliable to replace the axle
