2002 Chevy Trailblazer
Replaced blower motor resistor (manual temp control).
Now I hear a clicking no matter what speed fan is set on.
Whatcha think?
Does the clicking speed up with the fan speed?
Broken actuator in blend door is my guess. Not an uncommon problem. Now which one? you might check trailvoy.com for info.
If the clicking frequency gets proportionately higher with higher fan speeds – as queried above – suspect debris, leaves and small sticks, has been sucked into the blower cage area. If the clicking frequency is independent of fan speed, suspect Barky’s idea.
