My recently restored '81 CJ7 coughs, sputters and dies after about an hour of operation. After a 1/2 hour it recovers. It has a 258 I6 with a Mopar MPI induction system. I’m convinced it is an electrical problem (because plenty of gas is getting to the motor) All parts are new. Whats the deal?
Assuming it is not fuel, my guess would be the coil.
