How do you get the cigar lighter out of a 2000 Chevy S10?
Assuming it’s the same as a cigarette lighter, the outer shell of the assembly will screw off from the back and the core pull straight out. Be sure to unplug it first 'cause it’s always “hot” even with the engine off.
Stop by a parts store and look at a replacement. You’ll be able to see how it’s assembled.
