My 1999 sebring (109,097 miles) has recently begun to stop running while I am driving. It happens about every other day…sometimes two. While driving there is suddenly no acceleration and the car dies. I pull over for a few minutes and it starts right up. My mehcanic has had it for two days and nothing comes up on the diagnostic tests. I live on a curvy mountain road and it seems to do it close the bottom of the hill(which adds to the excitement!). In researching online there seems to be a variety of possiblities but no hard solutions. Any help would be very much appreciated as it is quite scary.
