I’m not hearing little birdies … my 2001 Toyota Sienna minivan is making high, fast chirping sounds on start up. They continue as I back out the driveway and start up the street. They stop after I make my first (relatively) sharp left turn. I’m pretty much ignorant about cars. Any ideas what this is?
Have you ever had the belt(S) changed?
Could be a worn pulley bearing.
Squirt a little water from a spray bottle on the belt with the engine idling. If the chirping stops, change the belt. (It may be glazed)
