Chevy Uplander 2005

For the 2nd time we have been told that the rear tires are worn unevenly and that it is most likely due to poor suspension/shocks. We can’t rotate the tires to the front because it would cause a loud rumbling noise and would just cause the tires rotated to the rear to wear unevenly too. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do to fix it? Our car is only 2 1/2 yrs old.

You need to take it into a good alignment shop. They can measure it and determine if that is the problem and they can make the needed adjustments. It does sound like you do need some adjustments. Not all tyre stores are going to be able to handle the needed alignment.

it seems obvious, but check the rear suspension and shocks?
