just wondering if anyone has come across this a 97 chevy 7.4 random misfire in most cylinders and consistant misfires in cylinders 3 and 4
a little more info the truck has at least over 200k new wires,rotor,plus,wires

Don’t know the vehicle. Does it have a coil pack? “Wasted spark” ignition? Sounds like a possible bum coil.
it has a coil and it checks out fine also have good compression in number 3
