Cars transmission slips during take-off . 180,000 miles , does it need service, modulator valve or replacement?

What you found when you checked the transmission fluid. (Level, color, odor)
The maintenance history of this transmission. (If the answer is “none”, or “I don’t know”, then anything up to replacement/rebuilding is possible.)
The model year of your Chevy, and its engine type.
Whether any warning lights are lit up on your instrument panel.
