Changing out a headlight bulb on a 2003 Nissan Xterra

Hi, I’m slowly trying to learn how to do things on my car…I replaced the air filter for myself a few weeks ago, and now the regular filament of my right headlamp is out so I’m going to try to change it out. I have the replacement bulb. Does anyone know a) how to get the old bulb out and b) is there anything important I need to know before I do this, like, something I might seriously break if I don’t know it beforehand? Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!

usually the manual gives you instructions

I HAVE NEVER CHANGED A BULB ON THAT PARTICULAR VEHICLE BUT ON THE BULBS I HAVE CHANGED YOU WOULD TURN BULB A QUARTER TURN AND PULL BULB OUT OF SOCKET, BE GENTLE DONT FORCE IT .

Don’t touch the envelope (glass) of the lamp with bare hands and if you do accidently, clean it with alcohol or acetone.
