Hello, my friend is changing the ATF on my audi, we don’t know what kind of ATF does it. Has anyone change the ATF on an Audi? How complex is it? Thanks!
I had to back engineer that this was a 2002 or newer A6. That’s when the 3.0 appeared.
I think that this is a CVT trans. I don’t think you’ll be hitting up WallMart for the fluid.
Safest bet is to get the fluid from an Audi dealer. If you have the owner’s manual follow the recommendations in it on type of fluid.
Modern transmissions can be finicky about the fluid in them, don’t gamble. Make sure you have the right fluid before you start the job.
