I have a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan. For the past few weeks, it takes forever to warm up. The temperature gauge stays on C for about 1/2 hour and even once it starts moving, the gauge doesn’t move far. The air coming out of the heater is cold as well. It’s about 10 degrees here today and my family needs to use this vehicle to go to a funeral Monday and would like to be warm after leaving the graveside service. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
A stuck open thermostat will prevent the engine from warming up correctly. Try having the thermostat replaced.

Low coolant level will have the same effect as well.
