Car won't start in damp weather

My Ford Taurus has problems starting in damp and cold weather. Have had numerous things replaced; coil, in tank fuel pump, fuel filter.

Number one culprit in damp/wet weather is spark plug wires. Have you replaced those? Number two culprit is distributor cap, which if cracked or not sealing correctly will arc internally when moisture from damp air condenses on the surfaces inside.

99% (Ok maybe less than 99% of the time) it is plug wires. How old are the plugs and the wires?

I have not replaced the plugs or wires yet. I have taken this care to 4 different shops and they fix everything else. I will try this next. Thank you.

I have had the distributor cap already replaced.
