I have been told to use baby shampoo when washing my show car, it doesn’t remove wax and rinses clean. Truth or fiction?
I have always had good results using an automobile car wash. I haven’t noticed that the auto wash hurt a new wax job. In fact, the instructions say that it doesn’t destroy wax. My cars aren’t show cars. However, I would think that shampoo is designed to remove excess oil from the hair.
For the same reason, I didn’t use auto shampoo on my son’s hair when he was little, although he isn’t show quality either.
