my car just started sputtering and when i tried to press the gas at the green light , my car reved up and left me going only about 5 miles an hour though my foot was all the way down on the gas. then wouldnt let me go anywhere. once pulled over i noticed i had no oil at all, but i have a feeling this is a transmission problem. can anybody help??
What make, model, mileage, and engine option? It really helps to know what we’re dealing with.
If the engine cannot rev, I doubt transmission problems. Your way low on oil. Add some, quart by quart, until it registers on the dipstick. The problem you posted sounds more like a fuel feed problem. Like fuel pump gone bad, or filter that plugged up. Is the CEL on? If so, can you get the codes read?
