this week weather is extremely cold, door bell and ignition and radio quit for two days. Today it did not work at 1 p.m., then at 2 p.m. it cranks right up and goes.
All other electrical things continue to work even when problem is present, power windows, horn, dash lights, headlights, all okay throughout.
Start with a thorough cleaning of the battery terminals and cables. Clean the cables not only at the battery end, but follow them to all contact points on the car and check/clean/tighten all of those as well.
