Hi!
Can anyone recommend any car maintenance software for the Mac? I’d like to start tracking it on the computer.
Thanks!
Don’t know of any, but most household budget software packages have a section for car expenses. Personally, I use a simple EXCEL spread sheet and run it from year to year. The repairs should be adequately described, so you can instantly go back to previous work done. repairs. I keep a printout of detailed repairs & maintenance for the last 2 years in the glove compartment for reference when problems are encounterd on the road.
I use an Excel spreadsheet to track my maintenance. You don’t need anything more complex. You can use any spreadsheet program or word processing program that will let you create tables.
I just found this on versiontracker.com, I don’t know anything about it:
Don’t you think just maybe this is over the top? I mean, for a buck or so you can get a little notebook and write down the date and the job done. Just leave the book in the glove box (no one puts gloves in there so there’s a lot of room). And a plain brown envelope will hold all your receipts for years. You don’t need to go digital when analog will do.
