Our 2006 Nissan Sentra starts easy when engine is cold. But if we have been driving for a while then stop and turn engine off. When we try to restart the starter motor runs a long time before the engine starts. Any ideas? Thanks.
One possibility is leaking injectors, in which case, the engine actually became flooded while it was not running. CEL on? Any codes read?
Thanks for the reply Cal. We just drove up from Florida where it was getting up to 90 degrees. Now we are in CT and it is only about 70 it is starting much easier. Do you still think it might be the injectors? Thanks for your help.
Cal I also forgot to mention there are no warning lights on.
