My car sounds like it’s about to start but it doesn’t. I just had an oil change 3 weeks ago, but the oil likgt is back on.
You’ll have to give us description of your vehicle including engine size and mileage.
Also describe in some detail what you do to attempt starting and what happens, noises, etc.
Was the oil light on before the oil change? Was the oil light reset after the oil change?
Did you drive the vehicle with the oil light on?
Was there any prior work done to the vehicle before these problems started?
If the car won’t start, the “oil PRESSURE light” will probably not go out while it cranks. Your starting issue has nothing to do with your oil.
It would be helpful to know what kind of car it is, make, model, year. Does it crank over at normal speed, just not fire up?
