We’ve got a 2004 Taurus with the Duratec (DOHC) engine. It has the code P0443. We were told to replace the emissions system canister purge valve. However when we did a google on this part we couldn’t find anyone who actually knew what it looked like, or exactly where it was located (except ‘under the hood’). According to the Ford manual it’s supposed to be easy to install, just remove the heater hose and two bolts, but when we looked at the heater hoses we saw no part that fits thew description of the canister purge valve. Does anyone know where this part is located, or have a picture of what it looks like?
