I have a 2007 camry XLE V-6 with a smart key. The car starts perfectly most of the time but occasionally it won’t start until pushing the gas pedal and to the floor. the smart key has a bright green light, which it is supposed to have. Two dealers can’t find the problem. They probably think its me. Any suggestions? I’m about to get a Honda.
Familiarize yourself with the “Lemon Law” in your state. After X number of unsuccessful attempts, or X number of days of “downtime” for repairs you can qualify for a settlement in most cases. Determine the value of X in your state in order to see where you stand, and politely remind the service department that you are prepared to invoke the Lemon Law when appropriate.
