My 2008 Cadillac DTS, has a whine coming from the transmission only when I’m driving at speeds between 20 and 30 MPH. There is a bulletin published by GM Document ID: 2268147 that describes this problem and a procedure to use to fix it. However, the Cadillac dealer tells me that the procedure does not fix the problem and there is nothing they can do at this time. I’d like to have this problem fixed before my warrenty runs out, does anyone have any suggestions?

Open the Owner’s Manual, and find the contact information for Cadillac’s corporate- level customer service hotline. Since GM likes to keep Caddy owners happy, they are much more likely than that dealership to want to help you.
Great suggestion. Just called and Cadillac is on it and have promissed to work to resolve.
