I need to replace the transmission on my 99 Subaru Forester. I have googled used transmissions and am sorting through the results. Any suggestions on a good site or company to trust? I will be having the tranny shipped to me and will be installing it with the help of a talented mechanic buddy.

There are MANY low-mileage engines and transmissions imported from Japan where their laws forbid rebuilding wrecked cars. What would be a minor accident here will total a car in Japan.
