Heh heh heh. Yes a complete sentence.
Get Dad a Uber or Lyft card. Or use a taxi service. Put the money you’d spend on the used car onto the card. I had to take the keys away from my 84 year old Dad. He lived 5 years on his own without a car in a small town. Not having a car meant he’d make friends with the new drivers and he made many friends.
A little late to the party. I can’t believe they had taxi, or Uber in a small town. Unless you mean a small town of 50,000. My BIL’s dad was in a town of 500 and that’s considered large. He bought a tractor to get around and later a golf cart but still had his car. I know people do that, and my cousin tried it too, but by what legal authority does someone remove a person’s car keys, whether you think it’s good for society or not? In my BIL’s case even the Sheriff simply asked him to consider if he felt he should drive but admitted they could not stop him.
I live in town of Niles NY. We have Lyft and Uber. 1200 people.
