I use ad blocker on Chrome as well, but I do it knowing that Google tracks what I do online, whether I sign into Chrome or not. Firefox, on the other hand, is an open source browser made by a company (Mozilla) that isn’t looking to monetize your privacy. They only track your internet activity if you ask them to, and they generate their profits through royalties paid by companies that want to be featured in search results.
Chrome even tracks your activity in “incognito” mode; it just doesn’t save any of that activity on your computer. It erases your tracks on your computer, but not with your ISP or with Google.
I use Chrome simply because it’s the better browser (in terms of speed and convenience), but if I was at all concerned about my privacy, Firefox would be the smarter choice.
BTW, plug-ins/extensions like ad blocker are available for Firefox too.
I am not what you call what computer savvy all I know about computer tracking is what I have seen happen to me I used to do a lot ob online shopping & research no matter weather it was what I ordered or just looked at it showed ur in ad’s plus a lot of other type’s of ad;s until l got the ad blocker.
Yes I believe that was the plan. There were significant differences between the lines. But once they started making the same type of car in each line, the distinction was lost. An SUV is pretty much an SUV.
Partly lost, but not entirely. We bought an Olds Silhouette in 2003. There were similar minivans from Chevrolet and Pontiac, but they were not as comfortable or as quiet as the Olds.
It’s ironic that I am finally seeing Buick Regal TourX wagons on the road, just when GM is about to discontinue their sale in The US. These are really nice-looking cars, and they are apparently… decent… in quality.
Get me going again. There is something wrong with that roof line and the side windows. Looks like a hearse, like Honda. Can’t quite put my finger on it but something is not pleasing to the eye and shouldn’t have made it past the clay model like that. Maybe sloped too much or something. What’s wrong with these people? Mary reminds me of an old boss that just wouldn’t listen to anyone and is still raising havoc wherever she goes. Sees the future with rose colored glasses as we used to say and only listens to people that agree with her. I keep getting more miles on my cars and keep scratching cars and companies off the list.
So does the Dodge Magnum, and that came out 15 years ago. A neighbor wanted to get one as a company car, but his daughters said they wouldn’t ride in a hearse.
