It’s hard to know exactly what Bridgestone will do. Wi they continue to carry the competition? They might. Around here, Pep Boys carries a lot of low priced off brand tires. You can buy Michelin if you want, but they also sell tires at a third of the cost of Michelin Premier tires.
Both of the local Pep Boys closed out a few years ago. IIRC there was a major corporate reorganization. (Bankruptcy??) They did have good prices. There are at least three local Firestone centers in the county that I know of. I used to work for one when it was a JC Penney Auto Center 37 years ago. I suppose they will make those Firestones into Pep Boys.

The Pep-Boys around do NOT have good prices. I can beat them easily.
They have good prices on their Chinese import tires. I never said that had good prices on name brand tires. The comment did not refer to quality at all, just that there are several options for cheap tires at Pep Boys.
