I have an 80 ford pickup,that the brake aren’t working on. they did work but just quit one day. we checked fuses, bulbs and towing package but can’t get them to work any ideas what to do next?
Make sure power is getting the brake light switch by using a test light probe. Also try cycling the emergency flasher switch a few times and see if the lights work with it. The brake light circuit may run through it and the switch contacts may be dirty.
Thanks for the info. I finally realized that I hadn’t checked the brake switch under the dash. That was the problem.It got out of adjustment somehow. Again, thank you very much.
