Not to argue but before I switched to non oxy for small engines I rebuilt the carb on both my mower and generator. The little holes were plugged. Switched gas and always use fuel conditioner now also with no problems. Maybe it’s the stabilizer but I’ve had several shops warn about using ethanol in small engines with carbs.
The federal government mandated that all gasoline contain at least 10% ethanol in 2005.

I figure BP gas with invigorte is still ok.
We’re soo happy we just got confirmation on our question about if our 2020 Connect can run and use the eFuels… Ford themselves responded with this quote:
“The 2.0L GDI I-4 gasoline direct-injected engine is engineered to run on E85 (85% ethanol and 15% gasoline), unleaded gasoline or any blend of the two. Ethanol is cleaner burning and more renewable than conventional fuel all without the addition of the yellow fuel cap or warning tags”
Now we can resume to running the eFuels in our van which we did about 2 years ago for 2 weeks and the only reason we stopped is because we got a lean code. later i learn the lean code came up because I invariantly added 10.00 worth of E85 instead of waiting until waiting until the tank was less than half full/empty. In other words with the variable timing a fuel system that check for volume etc… adding just 10.00 threw a code. in other words. never “top off” the tank with eFuel always wait till past half a tank to fuel up. this allows us to wait till 1/4 tank till fueling.
Why did you tag onto a 6 month old thread that is about E10 and not E85 ?
Not in the UK but I haven’t used BP gas for many years. My bil related a story of a guy having fuel problems and the mechanic said they had a high incidence of problems with BP for whatever reason.
I hadn’t used my bp credit card in maybe ten years so I got a notice to use it or lose it. So I charged $14 for Mobil gas and they liked me again. Then I got another notice so I charged another $14 worth. Then they sent me a new card, and yesterday said they upgraded my card and credit limit and will send the new super duper card whether I want it or not.
I think what has happened is the business has been sold to a new bank. Lot of that going on. I’ve had the standard oil, now BP motor club for 40 years at least and same thing there some five years ago or so. Had to switch to a debit card instead of the bp card then for quarterly billing. At any rate I don’t use bp gas now especially when traveling, for good or bad, avoid the green.
