Whichever one you can get to.
Is it that simple? Surely you don’t want it on an outside corner
It doesn’t make much difference where in the block you put it. After all, you’re only putting it in one side of a V8 engine, right?

If two were readily accessible and one was lower than the other, I’d go for the lower one on the basis that there might be a slightly better benefit from convection.
But in reality it may not matter. Mine is just a thought.
