Best Pickup between Hilux and JAC

Im wanting to buy a pickup for myself, there are few possible options. The ford ranger is not an option as its way overpriced due to TAXES.

I have two options:
The 2025 Hilux
JAC T9
The JAC T9 at a lower price point than the Hilux but with more options like sunroofs parking senosrs etc.

Im not sure whether its reliable or not as ive had not used their pickups, only their lorries which are damn reliable.

Any ideas?

This is mostly US site. neither is sold here.

It appears the Hilux is sold in America as the Tacoma.
Between those two choices I would stick with the Toyota.
The JAC might be fine, just no track record in the US in as much as not sold here. The JAC website is not impressive, could not find cab/bed combinations. The Toyota with the extend (extra) cab and six foot bed would be my choice. That Ford and GM have eliminated the extra cab on their smaller trucks would be my reason to buy the Toyota.

@davidwilliam79x_192784 It is not that people on this Forum don’t want to help but unless I missed it you have not told where you are located. As stated this is a USofA based site and has very few regular members elsewhere.

The Hilux is called Tacoma here but there are quite a difference between them. The JAC is not sold here .

No Chinese vehicles are sold in the US. How long have JAC vehicles been sold where you live? E.g., how long have they been in Australia? How many dealers are there nationwide? Do they service what they sell on site? Do a web search for “jac forum”. There are several out there.

Im from India

there is only few dealers, they started to sell newly here in the country

There are quite a few vehicles sold in India that are not available in The US–and vice-versa.

yes thats is true

it is being locally assemebled in our country (the JAC) while toyota is being bought from japan and thailand

The tacoma i think i comparatively larger and more expensive than the hilux

My 2 cents worth, stick with a common vehicle in your Country…

Here’s a feature comparison of the Hilux and the Isuzu V-Cross. The Isuzu I’d two-thirds the cost of the Toyota and seems to have a lot going for it.
