Best combo of fuel economy and winter weather capability

Checking out the UK ratings Suzuki are among the highest rated http://autotrader.reliabilityindex.co.uk/man_index_2.html?searchtype=relindex&apc=11310987377436538#

If your car has traction control, winter tires ,decent ground clearance and you are sane about what weather you travel in…and stay on main roads, you have no problem…go for economy after that. Change many of those variables and you should start thinking about all wheel drive and the only economy you get are very expense all wheel drive hybrids…a poor choice IMO.

I suggest that you keep both the Acura and the pickup through the first winter. Once you get to Colorado and see how the roads are, you can make a decision. And you have the advantage of a Texas car to sell in the snow belt! How good is that?
